Booking Terms

A non-refundable deposit of £30.00 per person is requested on making a reservation.  This deposit will be refunded in the event of cancellation with at least 2 weeks notice. In the event that a holiday is cancelled or foreshortened for whatever reason after this time, we do make every effort to re-let the accommodation.  If we fail to re-let the accommodation, then a charge equivalent to two thirds of the cost of the previously booked full duration will be made.  We strongly recommend insurance

We accept payment by cash, credit card, debit card or cheque with a valid guarantee card up to the limit on the card.  We charge 1% commission on payment by credit card.

Other information

The Cleeve House has a residential and restaurant licence.

Reserved rooms are normally ready from 12.30 onwards on the day of your arrival.  We ask that you vacate your room by 10.00 am on the day of departure.

We regret that we do not take children under 12 or pets.

We have no single rooms.  However we are happy to let our double rooms to single occupants in our quieter months only.  There is a single room supplement of £15.00 per night.

The Restaurant is closed on Wednesday evenings and also every evening between 21st July and 31st August inclusive.  We are always happy to recommend other restaurants and pubs in the area.

We have a strictly no smoking policy throughout.
